BIOGRAPHY
Arsen was born in 1975 and raised in Port Hardy, British Columbia, a mining, fishing and logging town on North Vancouver Island. Arsen spent two years in Subotica, former Yugoslavia, learning his parents’ first language. He received his BA in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Victoria in 1999 and Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2005. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2006, joining Hoogbruin & Company that same year.
Advocating on behalf of clients in a courtroom or at mediation is what Arsen loves best. He has litigated in the British Columbia Provincial Court and Supreme Court. He has handled a wide variety of cases involving brain injuries, soft tissue injuries, orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain and whiplash.
Arsen is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
When away from the office, Arsen likes to train at Sugarrays Boxing Gym and is a keen but less than fantastic surfer, surfing regularly off the West Coast of British Columbia and Mexico.
Arsen also speaks Serbo-Croatian.
